I celebrate and affirm the beautiful diversity of all identities and experiences. Our spiritual journey is enriched by the fullness of who we are, embracing love, joy, and connection in all its forms. I honor and support 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, recognizing the sacredness of each person's path and their right to love and be loved authentically. May we continue to walk together in truth, compassion, and mutual respect,

celebrating the divine

in every expression

of being.

My Wildscape Journey

Hello, I'm Tanya!

In my own Wildscape journey, I have encountered many different landscapes: the spiritually dry desert of parenting, valleys of grief, rocky trails of conflict, mountain top view points that have led to significant career transitions and wandering the wide open fields of possibility. Spiritual direction has always offered me a compassionate space to simply to be present to whatever is happening in my life in the moment, feel the feelings and discern my next step.

I have been walking alongside individuals for over 25 years, as a spiritual companion, retreat leader and pastor. I love to listen to people tell their stories and discover often unexplored beauty and meaning in their lives.

I am rooted in the Anabaptist Christian tradition with an openness to the beauty and wisdom in all spiritual traditions and teachings. I work to create a welcoming, open-hearted, and brave space for spiritual discovery, transformation, and growth.

I feel most at home in Circle. As a trained Circle Keeper, I use Circle wisdom in my retreat work, as container for storytelling and transformation. Circle has been a key component when I work with leadership groups, congregational discernment, and even when guiding multi-day wilderness canoe trips!

I love to learn. My training and professional development includes: Ontario Jubilee Spiritual Direction Program, Masters of Theology, Advanced Peacemaking Circle Training; Conflict Management and Congregational Leadership Certificate (to be completed in 2025) and Spiritual Direction Supervision. I am currently exploring spiritual eldering, eco-spirituality, and Indigenous ways of knowing and right relations work.
