A pilgrimage, according to Peter Cousineau in The Art of Pilgrimage, is a powerful metaphor for any journey with the purpose of finding something that matters deeply to the traveler. Similarly, labyrinths have been used for thousands of years as a spiritual practice. When physical travel was difficult, people would walk labyrinths as a meaningful alternative.
“Walking the Seasons” is a 2 hour experience which embraces this ancient practice and offers an opportunity for personal reflection guided by the changing seasons. Held four times a year, you will be invited to walk the labyrinth amidst the distinct beauty and energy of each season.
Walking the labyrinth involves three key steps: Release, Receive, and Return. You can also use the word “Remember” to reflect on who you are or where you are in life. Just like a pilgrimage, walking a labyrinth is a personal journey, and there’s no right or wrong…
